Great first day. Ridiculously hot – 30 degrees – but the Mules have done brilliantly and everyone is in the hotel rehydrating!
55 very overexcited riders and 10 crew have waited two years but Mule Aquitaine is finally on its way! With many thanks to our patron H.E. the Lieutenant Governor Richard Cripwell for seeing us off.
All the hard work back in the autumn has paid off with the bulbs in full bloom at the Victoria Tower Garden. We’re looking forward to welcoming students from Le Rondin next week as part of their study of ‘growth’….

One of the highlights of our year is taking the students from Le Rondin ice skating. It’s such a joy seeing them nervously taking to the ice and within the the session gaining in confidence and having a wonderful time….
