Mules Flandres
Mules Flandres
6-14 June 2026
Mules Flandres will be our sixth jaunt to France and will be 12 years since the first Mule Bretagne ride back in 2014.
The rides have raised over £260,000 which has enabled OF&D to reach the fantastic milestone of raising over £300,000. All of this money has stayed on the Island to support local charities working with children, adults and young people with learning difficulties and physical disabilities. For more details about the projects and charities we have been able to support with the funds raised please visit our charity donations plage but clicking here.
To see what we’ve been up to on our previous rides please visit their pages: Mule Normandie (2016) and Mule Loire (2018), the Covid delayed Mule Aquitaine (2022)and Mule d’Ane-versaire (2024).
THE CHALLENGE
Mules Flandres will visit three countries! Starting in Amiens we’ll cycle north into Belgium via Ypres to Bruges, followed by a day when we cross into Holland before coming back down through France via the cycling mecca that is Roubaix (think cobbles, hills and cobbled hills!) and returning to Amiens.
We will take 55 riders supported by a crew of 10. Our tried and tested formula of offering different options for distance and speed over 55/60, 80 or 100 miles a day works well and enables us to take riders who are new to cycling alongside the more experienced.
The Riders
A huge thank you to all our riders for their incredible support and signing up for the ride. You couldn't find a more fabulous group of people so please show your support and donate generously!
The Crew
It would be impossible to do the ride without our incredible crew - a massive thank you to them all for coming to help and endure the madness!
